1. Engine displacement and power
• Large displacement engines (e.g. 3.0L and above) usually require a larger diameter bellows (e.g. Φ80-150mm) to match the higher exhaust flow.
• Small displacement engines (e.g. 1.0L-2.0L) have smaller bellows in diameter (e.g. Φ50-80mm).
2. Exhaust system design
• Space limitations: Models with a compact chassis layout may have a folding or shorter bellows.
• Pressure resistance requirements: High-performance models (such as turbocharged engines) require bellows with higher pressure resistance, which may be accompanied by greater wall thickness or special construction.
3. Temperature and environment
• Bellows in high temperature areas (such as near the engine) require thicker stainless steel, which may affect their outside diameter and length.
