2 Post Car Lift
This type of lift is the most popular style of lift for a busy auto shop, because it allows you the greatest access to all of the vehicle for service purposes, including smaller vehicles, minivans, and minitrucks. One benefit of this type car lift is the vast area of exposure presented when lifted. As such, it allows for proper auto tuning when working from under. The arms are of different lengths and configuration.

2 Types for Your Needs
Clearfloor Car Lift
Pros:
There are no obstacles on the ground, which allows the fore-and-aft free rolling movement across the floor of toolboxes, floor jacks, oil drains, and other shop equipment under a vehicle that is raised up in the air.
Cons:
You need to have a high enough ceiling to use the clearfloor lift. Since the overhead cross member is fixed, you will always be limited to that maximum height. If you plan to lift tall vehicles such as trucks and vans, you need to choose a clearfloor lift with enough height.

1. Our lift carriage is neither pipe type, and nor thin steel plate with welding. It is made by 15.69mm thickness one piece bending as a whole, which provides stronger support than welding and does not result in deformation.

1. Our lock is bolted to the carriage, once the lock is broken, it can be easily replaced hence saving time, efficiency and cost. Other lift's lock is thin and weak and is welded on the carriage. Once the lock teeth are broken, you have to replace the whole arm, which causes loss of time and higher costs.

All Three Horses car lifts ship with the necessary anchors required for mounting the unit to your floor.
3. Does hydraulic fluid come with the car lifts?
Due to current DOT and insurance laws regarding the transport of hydraulic oils (DOT Section 1 -Hazardous Ingredients; DOT Section 2 - Fire and Explosion Hazards and DOT Section 3 - Health Hazards) the required hydraulic fluid is to be supplied by the end-user, only. Three Horses car lifts are designed to operate using standard 10-weight, non-foaming, non-detergent hydraulic oil or Dexron-IlATF fluid. It is available at most auto stores.
4. Do l need a special floor or foundation to support my new car lift?
Most residential or commercial foundations are strong enough to support Three Horses car lifts. However, it is important to adhere to concrete specifications. A level floor is suggested for proper installation and level lifting. With proper shimming, small differences in floor slopes may be compensated for. lf a floor is of unstable slope, consider a survey of the site or the possibility of pouring a new level concrete slab.
