4 Post Car Lift
The four-post lift is a very popular and versatile car lift. It is suitable for both light and heavy automobiles owing to its sturdy structure. It is suitable for both servicing cars and trucks in a busy auto shop as well as for storing one car over another in a home garage. Besides, four post lifts are quicker and easier to drive on and off.
4 Post Alignment Car Lift
It has a "track" between the runways to allow the use of rolling jacks on the lift. It features slip plates and alignment turntables. The slip plates are built in and are assured to be level with the turntables. The rolling hydraulic jack features multiple solid locking positions that are used when the vehicle is to be suspended above the runways. It allows the lifting of a vehicle for "wheels free" brake, suspension, and tire service.

Due to current DOT and insurance laws regarding the transport of hydraulic oils (DOT Section 1 -Hazardous Ingredients; DOT Section 2 - Fire and Explosion Hazards and DOT Section 3 - Health Hazards) the required hydraulic fluid is to be supplied by the end-user, only. Three Horses car lifts are designed to operate using standard 10-weight, non-foaming, non-detergent hydraulic oil or Dexron-IlATF fluid. It is available at most auto stores.
4. Do l need a special floor or foundation to support my new car lift?
Most residential or commercial foundations are strong enough to support Three Horses car lifts. However, it is important to adhere to concrete specifications. A level floor is suggested for proper installation and level lifting. With proper shimming, small differences in floor slopes may be compensated for. lf a floor is of unstable slope, consider a survey of the site or the possibility of pouring a new level concrete slab.
