Best solutions for brake discs
My brakes feel squishy. What should I do?
Bleed your brakes if there's air in the system. Inspect hoses for air entry before bleeding.
Brake levers creep to handlebars when pressed? Bleed brakes to remove air in system.

Brakes squeal. What to do?
Inspect brake pads for contamination. Replace if needed. Clean rotors with isopropyl alcohol or disc cleaner. Center caliper if necessary.
Can I touch my rotors?
Yes, but avoid it for two reasons…
Touching rotors can contaminate with oils, dirt reducing performance, and they get hot, risking injury.
If touching rotors, clean with isopropyl alcohol.
What if brake pads get contaminated?
Try cleaning brake pads with rubbing alcohol and sandpaper. Replace if contamination is severe.
When to replace brake pads?
Consistent squealing or reduced braking power indicates pad replacement. Inspect for wear; replace if material is gone.
When to replace rotors?
Rotors rarely need replacement. Diminished braking or loud squealing? Check pads. If rotors have a significant ridge, consider replacing.
