Engine for Hyundai
The 3.8-liter gasoline V6 engine Hyundai G6DA was produced in America from 2004 to 2016 and was installed on both front-wheel drive Grandeur and rear-wheel drive ix55 models. Such a power unit existed in two generations with quite significant differences. This is a very conventional V-engine with an aluminum block and a 60° camber angle, a pair of aluminum DOHC cylinder heads without hydraulic lifters, multiport fuel injection, a timing chain drive and an intake manifold with a 2-stage geometry change system. The first generation unit was equipped with CVVT-type phase regulators only on the intake shafts.
