The 1.6-liter 16-valve Hyundai G4ED engine was produced in Korea from 2000 to 2012 and was installed on the group's most popular models, such as Accent, Elantra, Matrix and Getz. There were two versions of this unit: with and without a CVVT type phase regulator at the inlet.
