Tank Bag for Yamaha R15: Two-Piece Construction
This tank bag is built for the Yamaha R15 and supplied to a written specification, so the part that comes off the line in the next order matches the one you approved. Fitment, base material and finish are fixed before sampling starts — that is what keeps the two-piece construction programme stable once it moves from first order to repeat order.
Most buyers come to us after something went wrong: a specification nobody had written down, or documentation that arrived after the container shipped. Both are avoidable when the specification is written down before bulk and the approved sample is kept as the reference.

What decides whether it lasts
- Material — Titanium Alloy is the base; treat any substitution as a new approval.
- Hardness and heat treatment — recorded per lot, not per batch of paperwork.
- Fitment tolerance — checked on the actual Yamaha R15 mounting, not on a catalogue drawing.
- Finish — anodising holds up where the machine sees salt, mud and daily washing.
- Packing — individual packing plus inner cartons sized for the workshop bench.

Fitment notes
Check whether the mounting points on your market version match the catalogue drawing — regional variants are the usual cause of a wrong first order.
Where it is used
The two-piece construction build is the one most often ordered for adventure travel. Riders also fit it for coastal delivery, rental fleets, ride-hailing fleets, farm use.
Ordering

Questions buyers ask
What is the minimum order quantity?
The standard MOQ is 2000 pieces per specification. Mixed sizes inside one shipment are accepted once the total reaches that figure.
What happens if a lot fails inspection?
The lot is re-inspected against the golden sample, and replacement pieces ship on the next available booking at our cost.
What testing is included?
Standard lots ship with dimensional and hardness reports. CCC documentation is issued with the shipment when your market requires it.
How long does sampling take?
Samples leave the factory in 10 working days, and each revision round adds about 5 days once you have seen the first piece.
